Document Controller

Job Description

  • Set up, copy, scan and store documents.
  • Manage requests for documentation.
  • File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
  • Review and maintain the accuracy of the records, editing where necessary to ensure they are up to date.
  • To liaise with and distribute project related information with all levels of the project team and potentially external parties.
  • Formatting may include correcting templates, fonts and style, pagination and numbering and other activities that may be required to achieve a client’s documentation requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years’ experience and up to 5 years.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
  • V good hand written in English language.
  • Able to carry out basic tasks on a computer or hand-held device.
  • Proven work experience as a Document Controller or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Basic understanding of law firms & legal documents.
  • Administration skills
  • Be thorough and pay attention to detail
  • Able to work well with others
  • Able to use your initiative
  • Able to accept criticism and work well under pressure
  • Flexible and open to change.
